CHORAL SINGING AND CONDUCTING

Kodály training is musicianship through singing. This means that wherever Kodály training goes on, choral singing flourishes. Teachers need to become confident at conducting singing, whether in the classroom or at the school concert.

Choral singing is an integral part of the annual BKA Summer School for every student, and choral conducting classes are also available at Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced level. There are occasional weekend workshops in choral conducting techniques and repertoire.
