Music Education Right from the Start

I am a Cambridgeshire-based independent music teacher specialising in Kodály music education. I teach the piano to children and adults (beginner to advanced level). I run practical music classes for children following a Kodály approach: 'Nursery Time' classes for the pre-school stage and 'Sound Roots to Music' for the pre-instrumental stage. I lead workshops in Kodály practice for early years professionals, instrumental teachers and parents. I provide a consultancy service to nurseries, early learning centres and independent primary schools wishing to develop a music programme. I am developing resources and materials for pre-school and pre-instrumental music, and for teaching the piano and recorder from a Kodály perspective.
